I'm not a doctor, I do not have a degree in any medical field. But I have lived with family members who suffer from depression and are being treated. I do not understand this condition at all. But I would like to get a better understanding.
Sometimes I feel sadness and hopelessness, but I manage to shake it off without medication or any type of therapy. I do fear that since members of my family suffer from depression that I may not be able to shake off my blues. I read about foods, and vitamins that may be helpful. Has anyone ever tried these foods, if so, have these foods helped? What do you do? Who do you talk to?
